22nd-May-2008 12:04 am - hey all
heart, white, red, love
Hey I just found this community after feeling a bit lonely in our home of CO.
I realize this place is a little slow, but that's ohkay.
I'm Johnny, I'm a freak who just returned to this beautiful state after living in Missouri for 3 months (and it was horrible). I'd have to say my favorite bands are (not in order) AnCafe, Buck Tick, Rentrer en Soi, and Deadman.
It's honestly been a while since I popped in one of my J-cds, but I'm a fan all the same.
I started getting into Japanese rock when I was about 13-14 years old (which was 6-7 years ago) so I'm a long time J-otaku, not one of these new "scene" kids... <.<; no offense to those who are..
I'm honest, arrogant, cold hearted, and I have a bad habit of psychologically stereotyping people within the first week of knowing them. The only people who get to see my soft side are the ones that get way too close for my emotional comfort, haha!
Anyway.. yeah..

?Whoa! Just wanted to apologize for the spam that slipped into here. I didn't even notice the entry until today, so I'm sorry that it assaulted your guy's Friends Pages. I'll have to watch out for this a little more from now on.

Not much going on, I just also wanted to say I'm pretty proud of this little community and the people who have stepped out to make it better by updating us all on the going on's of J-music in Colorado. Thanks, guys. Keep it up :)
15th-Jan-2008 09:25 pm - Japan Nite 2008
I searched the archives, but didn't find any related entries, so...

Japan Nite, a collection of indie Japanese punk bands, will be in Denver on March 19th.

The bands are:
Petty Booka
The Emeralds
Ketchup Mania
Detroit 7

I went to the Philly one in 2006, and had a great time! Please go and support Jmusic in the US!
12th-Jan-2008 12:39 am - Hello everyone in Colorado!

How are you all doing today? I hope you're doing alright!

I am not totally positive that all of you remember me, but I am Alicia aka Die! I've cosplayed Die a few times and about two eyars ago at NDK I was all encased in vinyl.

This isn't totally gothiclolita but it's about an event that I am sure a few of you are attending: RTOC, Rockstar Taste of Chaos, featuring MUCC, D'espairs Ray and The Underneathe, hitting Denver Feburary 29th at the Fillmore theatre!

As some of you may or may not know; Denver is the first stop for this concert, meaning we're going to be getting the BRUNT of the guy's energy. Also, as you may or may not know, Jrock Revolution is officially apart of this, and now Jrock revolution is officially going to be in Denver! I am the head of the street team and such for the Denver area.

While, I don't have very much information for you right now, I'd like you to spread the word that there are going to be several meet-ups for the Denver area Jrock fanbase, and there's going to be a big one at the concert itself. I'd really like to get sort of a fun promotional thing going on here, so we can show how AWESOME our little group of rockstars are here!

If you're interested in helping me out on the street team, please reply to this, I'll be screening comments just in case you want to give personal information. As the law says, we really can't have anyone officially on the street team that's under 18, but if you're under 18 and still want to help, I am POSITIVE I can use you.

So, please reply, even if you jsut have a question!
